Cascades Swimmer at Commonwealth Games

Posted on: 3rd April 2018

David Kerr who is a Para Triathlete and who does most of his swimming training in Cascades (as well as with the Ulster Squad in Bangor Aurora at 5am some mornings) is competing at the Commonwealth Games in Gold Coast Australia.

We wish David every success and we’ll post his competition schedule so you can watch it on TV / Online / iPlayer as soon as we can find it, and we’re working on getting David to come in and talk to our members when he gets back.

Two other local triathletes Russell White & James Edgar who do their swimming training with Lisburn City Swimming Club are also competing and we wish them every success too and hope that they can push each other on to great performances.

The following nine swimmers are also representing Northern Ireland at the Commonwealth Games – watch this space for schedules as soon as can locate them.
